Missha All-Around Safe Block Soft Finish Sun Milk

Oh sunscreen there is nothing I love and hate more than you!
You are so essential to my skin care but if you suck, then my skin is unhappy even though you provide it with the most necessary protection!

Today I am reviewing a product I only reluctantly wanted to try.
When Misshas sunscreen collection came out I bought the blue version of the line and quite hated it!

http://verbositybookreviews.wordpress.com/2014/02/19/explaining-book-ratings-in-gifs/

I used it on my body instead and it was OK for that, at least it wasn’t oily!

But when I did my bi-yearly new sunscreen research, quite a lot of people recommended its pink counterpart as being fantastic.
It’s not that I am trying to abandon my absolutely favorite holy Grail Sunscreen (Biore watery mousse) but I do need one that is cheap but good so I can use it for my body.

So I found the samples of this product and started the try out process.
Well thank goodness it is nothing like the blue one!

It is super duper liquid!
I almost lost half of the sample pack when I tried it the first time.

Missha All-Around Safe Block Soft Finish Sun Milk

It is easy to spread and sinks in quite fast.
It hardly leaves a white cast or dry out my skin.
And even though I have nothing negative to say about this sunscreen I am not really a fan.
I guess I am spoiled by the gloriousness of Watery Mousse.

Missha All-Around Safe Block Soft Finish Sun Milk
Teeny tiny white cast to the right

Besides I really would like a sunscreen that I can either not feel on my face at all or if so that it would give me some sort of hydration properties.
I guess I was just not a fan of its liquid nature and that I could indeed feel it on my face, even though it was fairly short, maybe around 5 minutes or so.

I think this is a solid sunscreen suitable for any skin types.
If I would see this on sale I might pick it up for my body.

Innisfree It's Real Royal Jelly Mask review

2:08 PM Moi Sanom 0 Comments

The Innisfree It's Real Royal Jelly Mask is a mask infused with a royal jelly and herb complex water. This mask has nourishing and brightening effects. With a high amount of nutrients and moisturizers, this mask effectively protects skin from pollution and stress to give a radiant, healthy and glowing looking skin. 20 ml.
How to Use:
Wash face then apply toner. Apply mask onto face and leave for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove then gently massage to absorb excess solution.

innisfree It's Real Royal Jelly Mask

As you may already know, I am not a huge fan of sheet masks.
They are pieces of cloth moistly sitting on my face for 30 minutes to an hour.
Not really what I consider a good time!
I have tried a few though so, I think I can compare sheet masks from different styles, brands and countries.
To be honest most sheet masks are more or less the same.
They hydrate your skin, some more than others and sometimes they even give you a wonderful glow.
Since that refreshing feeling of sheet masks is only really pleasant to me in 30+ weather, not something that happens everyday, I prefer to use wash off or sleeping packs instead.

Sheet masks 1920s style!
Of course I am not writing this review just to tell you how average and underwhelming sheet masks are for me. OK, maybe a little, but almost the opposite.
Yes, most sheet masks are simply and absolutely Meh for me, so when my friend sent me this mask telling me she loves it I was a little skeptical.
So I had it laying around for a few weeks when I decided to finally try it out.
This stuff is amazing!
For one it isn't actually wet, Hooray!
The masks is covered with essence of course, but it is indeed a milky white almost slimy substance.

Innisfree It's Real Royal Jelly Mask
Delicious milk of goodness!
I know this might not sound super appetizing but you are not supposed to eat the thing, right!
The masks material is very soft, a little on the thick side and velvety, as mentioned before, soaked in a balmy and smooth essence.
It smells like fermented fruit but in a pleasant way, similar to Lucas Pawpaw Ointment, almost like honey and sweet flowers but not that sugary and strong.
I really enjoyed the smell to be honest, it reminded me of delicious memories I can’t recall.
It was very soothing when applied and felt hydrating and moist without dripping all over me.
It had enough essence to also add to my neck and chest area.
I left it on for around an hour and it didn’t dry out, I got bored then so I took it off.

Innisfree It's Real Royal Jelly Mask
Partly rubbed in on the right
All in all this sheet mask really stood out to me, it felt different than other masks and made my skin feel very good!
My skin was slightly tacky after taking it off but it sank in quickly.
It definitely gave my face a boost of hydration and soothyness which it always needs.
This has become my favorite sheet mask yet, and the only one so far I am happy to buy in bulk!

Etude House Look at my eyes palette in #3 Love Potion review

http://www.nickycrystal.com/look-at-my-eyes-3-color-palette/
Etude House Look at my eyes palette in #3 Love Potion
This is an eyeshadow palette of Look at my Eyes 3 best colors, giving eyes a bright and bubbly look with its lovely coral, wine color and its bling-bling red gold pearls.
Directions: Spread color 1 onto entire eyelid. 2 gradate with color 2. 3 shade with color 3 along eyeline.

Etude House Look at my eyes palette in #3 Love Potion

I have been eying this palette for quite a long time.
I never tried Asian eye shadow before and wanted to know how the quality held up.
Besides I was enchanted by the beautiful burgundy, a shade I had been lusting over for a while.
When my friend and I ordered some products together she mentioned she was in need of some new eye shadows.

Etude House Look at my eyes palette in #3 Love Potion

I immediately remembered the pretty shades on this palette and of course she loved the shades as well.
I got her permission to test these shadows for review purposes, so thanks for that!
When I opened it I noticed that the colors in the pots look exactly like the promotional pictures, which is always a good start.

Etude House Look at my eyes palette in #3 Love Potion

The texture is very smooth, a little less with the glittery shadow, and velvety.
They are surprisingly pigmented, and I don’t think that a primer is necessary for these to show up.
Even the beige pink shade was very visible on my lids.
Those types of shades are usually the kinds that don’t work for me at all so that was a plus!

Etude House Look at my eyes palette in #3 Love Potion
2 Layers without primer
The colors harmonize excellently together and I do think there is a variety of looks that can be achieved using these colors together or even separately.
Even though I really don’t like glittery or shimmery shades the colors are still lovely.
I always liked golden toned pinks to be honest and I do think they did a great job on these.
The Burgundy is absolutely gorgeous of course!
The shade is wearable in my opinion, since it leans towards pink instead of pure red.
OR206 is satiny, RD301 is glittery and PK004 is matte.
A good combo I think, unless you are like me and use exclusively matte shadows.

Etude House Look at my eyes palette in #3 Love Potion
A couple of fish eyes just for you dear readers!
The shadows were easy to use, they applied smoothly and blended easily.
They can be layered very well and I decided to not use the colors full strength but instead a slightly toned down version.
I really liked this palette and I would definitely purchase it if all three colors where matte.
I simply don’t think shimmery shadows suit me at all, and if you look at the full face pictures I do indeed look much older.
That was actually not the case in real life, it only showed up on the photos.
Johnny was actually really freaked out while taking the photos, since I looked like always in front of him but 10 years older on camera.

Etude House Look at my eyes palette in #3 Love Potion
Full look using Water drop CC cream, Love Potion palette, Maybelline mascara and Aritaum Lollipop tint

This does not mean that the eyeshadow will age you of course!
Glitter is just no my friend, that is all!

A;T Fox Gyoolpy Tea gel cream review

9:45 AM Moi Sanom 0 Comments

A;T Fox Gyoolpy Tea gel cream

High concentrates of Vitamin-C from the Gyoolpy Tea deeply nourishes and moisturizes the skin, leaving a refreshing, lasting glow on your skin. Also, being a gel-type cream, it spreads and penetrates into the skin smoothly and without curdling, and at the same time creates a thin, moisture layer over your skin to prevent de-hydration.
WHAT IT DOES
Moisturizes, refreshes, and brightens the skin
HOW TO USE
Apply moderate amount on your face, using your hand to spread and let it absorb into your skin.

I love the Fox Illustration!
I ordered this a while ago from the Memeshop, which you might be aware of if you follow me on Instagram.
For some reason I didn’t even post about my Memeshop experience and haul.
*Gasp!*
I couldn’t resist the adorable cupcake packaging, it was too cute to not purchase immediately!
When I received it I didn’t start using it right away, even though the product looked fine it just didn’t attract me for some reason.

How could I resist this?
When I finally did start using it I was extremely on the fence about it.
I think the problem is the smell!
It reminds me of self tan lotion or the kind of bronzer cream you use to get browner during the summer.
I am not fond of these smells at all and it made me question the ingredients in this product.
The scent might only be bothersome to me.
Besides that, it doesn’t linger at all and is only noticeable during the application process.

The little heart in the middle is detachable
The facts are these though, the product ingredients are completely ordinary and the product performs better than average!
To be honest this is one of the most confusing creams I have ever used!
On the one hand the texture is indeed gel like and hydrating.
It is watery when applied and feels very refreshing and moist.
On the other hand though it doesn’t keep my skin hydrated longer then other moisturizers.
It does quite well though averaging about 3-5 hours of moisture for my face.

Here is the kicker though, since I have been using it, my skin has been super duper soft!
My skin is never soft!
No matter what products I use my skin can range from very dry to sort of moist , but it is always scaly!
So how come this cream makes my skin incredibly soft but still doesn’t hydrated the crap out of it?
I have no idea, I will simply accept it and enjoy the feeling of smooth skin!
I also did a little experiment by using it in two ways.

It comes with a plastic divider
When you use it as a moisturizer it is best to only apply a very thin layer of this which then sinks in within seconds.
I have also tried it as a sleeping pack by applying a lot of the product to my face and waiting a few minutes until it is absorbed.
This feels very good indeed, the only downside is that it won’t sink in completely and when you rub your face there will be a little bit of piling going on.
This is not a problem for me since I only do so at night.
The product does not do that when only used in a thin layer, though.

I do think that this is quite a good mini wonder cream!

I believe it is suitable for any skin type due to its super thin texture but still packing a powerful moisturizing punch.

Holika Holika Apple Shine Turn-Over Sleeping Cream review

1:38 PM Moi Sanom 0 Comments

http://www.koreanqueens.com/en/creams/72-apple-shine-turn-over-sleeping-cream-holikaholika.html

Holika Holika Apple Shine Turn-Over Sleeping Cream (50ml)
Holika Holika Apple Shine Turn-Over Sleeping Cream absorbs immediately into skin with a cool tingling sensation. It provides enriched hydration and smoothes rough and dry skin by removing dead skin cells. This water drop type sleeping cream offers moist and luminous skin after each use for a softer complexion. Contains hyaluronic acid, organic fruits and grains, and rich nutrients.
How to use: After cleansing and applying toner. Apply all over face before bed. Rinse off in morning.
Holika Holika Apple Shine Turn-Over Sleeping Cream
I love the Witch logo!
This is one of the products that was lend to me by my dear friend, thank you friend!
She really likes this so I thought I would give it a try too.
You may or may not know that I am completely obsessed with sleeping packs and use them everyday. I am currently on the hunt for the perfect sleeping pack and even though this is not amazing it is pretty good indeed.
Sleeping packs are moisturizers that are meant to be used as your last skin care step at night.
They give you an extra dose of hydration and form a thin film on your face to pamper it while you sleep.

Holika Holika Apple Shine Turn-Over Sleeping Cream

This is a very smooth and fresh sleeping pack.
It smells like soapy cream and green apples but it dissipates fast once applied to your skin.
It feels cool on your skin and sinks in fast. It makes my face feel fresh moist and plump for a while but alas it doesn’t last until the next morning!
It is suppose to be a water drop pack, which means that once applied it should form little droplets on your skin.
It doesn’t do that but since I believe that is not only sort of unnecessary and a gimmick I am completely fine with that.

Holika Holika Apple Shine Turn-Over Sleeping Cream
It looks white in the jar but it is almost see through
It also says it eliminates dead skin cells, but it’s PH is a little too high to work as a proper exfoliant. Once again I do have appropriate products for that so I don’t expect it from this pack either.
It is a nice sleeping pack that i find makes me skin feel and look good.
But since I apparently need some kind of magic potion for my face to be moisturized for 8-12 hours I am not really sure if I will ever find a sleeping pack that I find 100% satisfactory.
Due to its lightweight texture and good hydrating qualities I think that this might be suited for any skin type.

Welcos Killing me Zombie CC Cream review

8:40 AM Moi Sanom 0 Comments

Welcos Killing me Zombie CC Cream

When I saw this CC Cream while browsing around Roseroseshop I stopped, gasped and put it in my cart faster than I could say OH-MY-GOD-A-ZOMBIE-CC-CREAM-I-NEED-IT-IN-MY-LIFE!

Why was I so excited you say?
Well have you seen the packaging and the name?
How can one not love this?
Ok so yeah, I love to try some weird themed and cutely packaged products, but so far I have only had success with that scheme.

Welcos Killing me Zombie CC Cream
Comes with a small security cap
 I don’t like foundation, I really don’t.
When I was younger and started wearing make up I couldn’t find any shades that suit my skin tone. Not only was/is there no suitable foundation shade for Women of color available in German drugstores but my skin type makes using foundation not fun.
I know that most skin types actually look better with the right foundation but some don’t.
And my skin is one of those fussy types.

No one wants to see me looking like this
I am not saying that my skin is so perfect it looks better without anything, and far from it!
It is just so dry and scaly that all the imperfections become much more visible when foundation is applied to it.

A few years ago I received a free Missha BB Cream though and my relationship with foundation products changed a little. By this time I was so pale, due to prolonged illness, that the shades available actually matched my skin tone.
For some reason BB Creams, probably due to some secret magic ingredients, don’t accentuate flaws as badly making my face look acceptable with it on!

So after 2 years of not wearing anything at all but a little bit of powder I finally found something I could use for special occasions.
You are probably wondering now why I am telling you this?
Well, CC Creams changed my life and I love them very very much!

J Dilla and CC Creams!
Some time after trying my first BB Cream CC Creams came out on the market. Considering the fact that they had less coverage than BB Creams I was very interested.
Indeed these wonderful products are fantastic for someone who doesn’t like foundation!

Welcos Killing me Zombie CC Cream
It comes in a vacuum type pump bottle
I have tried a few CC Creams by now and Etude House Super Collagen CC Cream is my favorite so far.
Even though the Zombie CC Cream is completely different I really really like it as well.
It is a color adjusting CC Cream, white at first with little black dots inside of it.

Welcos Killing me Zombie CC Cream
Speckles of magic
Usually I am not a fan of this type since they are too ghostly looking (I already have enough of those so I don’t need more!).
When swatched it on my hand and rubbed in a little it turns a quite hideous shade of orange.

Welcos Killing me Zombie CC Cream swatch
Looks more orange swatched in real life!
When I did this for the first time I seriously questioned my judgment and thought I made a huge mistake buying it.
For some mysterious reason it adapts perfectly to my skin color when applied to my face.
I have no idea how it does that but I won’t question it!
It also doesn’t have too much brightening powers so it doesn’t make my face look too pale or grey.  Which is quite funny since that is what I would expect from a product called Zombie cream!
I tried this CC Cream on me, Johnny and our bellies as well as our faces.
The reasoning behind this is that they are all different shades, my belly being the darkest (darker than my face or arm) and Johnnys belly being the lightest (darker than his face or arm).
The CC cream blended flawlessly on all my body parts, and it was a little too dark for Johnnys belly, otherwise it blended in fine.

Welcos Killing me Zombie CC Cream
Apparently it was weird arm day
I also applied it to Johnnys face to see if it would adapt better than his arm since I thought it looked a little orange there.
As you can see (or not) the CC Cream blends in perfectly!

Welcos Killing me Zombie CC Cream
I smeared the CC Cream on his face while he was lending me his arm for swatching.
The finish is neither dewy nor matte but a natural healthy skin texture, this can be altered by using high lighters, primers or powders of course.
It is quite thick in texture and smells like very subtle sweet creaminess of some kind.

Sometimes I apply it with my fingers by rubbing them together and when the color shows up I put it on my face. I prefer to use it with a beauty blender when I have time though.
I put some on my hand, rub it in so the color turns and dab it on my face, afterwards I blend it with the sponge.

Welcos Killing me Zombie CC Cream face
I am only wearing eyeliner and CC Cream
I don’t use any concealer with this since I simply add another layer or two onto problem areas and then blend again. This works really great, but if I have a non hideable blemish I mix some concealer into my CC Cream and use that mixture instead.
I was surprised on the coverage powers of this product. It does not cover as much as a BB Cream or foundation but more than most CC Creams and tinted moisturizers.
It layers really well and still looks incredibly natural.
Most people are surprised when I tell them I am wearing a foundation product since it blends in flawlessly with my skin.
So even after the initial skepticism towards this CC Cream it does make my skin look really nice.
I can really not ask more than that!
