Tonymoly I'm Real Avocado rich cream review
Tonymoly I'm Real Avocado rich cream (90ml)
Avocado extracts create a moisturizing layer to keep the skin shiny
How to use
At the last stage of skincare, apply moderate amount all over face according to skin texture.
I am starting to prepare for the upcoming Winter season and the weather it brings.
Since I live in Germany Winter is not a piece of cake.
Temperatures will drop soon and stay in the minus degrees for at least a month or two.
The air is always on the dryer side but Winter makes it feel like water absorbing sandpaper.
And that is just how my skin feels, too!
So yeah, I start looking for a winter moisturizer at the end of Summer and beginning of Fall. The sun might still be shinning some days but before you know it it is freezing outside and there is nothing in the house that is rich enough for poor dehydrated skin.
I think preparing your skin for the coming season is very important and if I do that my skin suffers less when the cold weather hits.
Avocado is supposed to be this wonder fruit.
A magic ingredient to solve all our health woes.
I thought I would give it a try and see if it would smother my skin in hydration powers.
Since it is still warm, I can afford to experiment with my moisturizers.
If they aren’t very good, my skin won’t become completely pruney and can recover in a short time.
I received a bunch of these as a sample.
I like to collect samples sometimes so I can extensively test products instead of just using it once or twice.
I had enough of this moisturizer to last me 2 weeks.
Since it doesn’t promise any long term effects, I thought that would be enough testing time to give you an opinion.
The cream has a wonderful texture.
It is very rich and thick but melts into skin and sinks in fast.
It smells and feels fresh when applied.
Even though it is quite thick it doesn’t leave any residues at all.
I think that this would be a good winter night cream for combo or even oily skin, and a great all around moisturizer for normal or dry skin.
Unfortunately, it is not suitable for me as a Winter moisturizer. It worked fine in conjunction with my facial oil or essence, But used alone without another moisturizing step it was not hard core enough for my face. Keep in mind though, that slathering Hyaluronic acid and Butter on my face would probably still not be enough for me.
So anyone who has actually found more than one cream that worked for them in terms of hydration will be fine with the moisture powers of the Avocado cream.
I will continue searching for the perfect moisturizer that will make my face smooth as a Bats behind (are they smooth?) until then this is definitely welcome in my line up.
As long as I have a good layering routine, it does perform wonderfully.
Sometimes a great routine can have surprising side effects... |
Sometimes it is not single products that aren’t strong or good enough, but the combination of a few actives that work well together which can truly work miracles on our faces. I can vouch for that, since I have finally found a way to turn my scaly dehydrated dull skin into something glowy and moist!
So, continue looking for the perfect product but mix and match them as well with other things in your line up. You might be surprised.
